DEBBIE FLEMING is a gem of a musician, well-known & respected in music circles. A Juno nominee, she is a singer, songwriter, producer, performer, director, arranger, contractor, vocal coach, and recording artist. Debbie’s deep love for all good music has led her to explore jazz, R & B, country, pop, roots, bluegrass and classical music in her singing and her writing. R&B formed her soul; Classical and Jazz formed her intellect – and she is known for her vocal sight-reading chops – learned while singing for over 40 years in the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir. Debbie has sung backups for famed artists, including Oscar Peterson, Anne Murray, Petula Clark, George Jones, Rita MacNeil, David Clayton Thomas, Allan Jackson, etc. & has released many recordings featuring her prolific, versatile song writing and arrangements. These days, she is singing with The Hampton Avenue 4, The Mendelssohn Choir, as a solo jazz chanteuse, house concerts, and guesting with R&B bands. She is currently arranging music for the Ault Sisters of Hit Parade on Vision TV. She has just returned from performing her jazz repertoire at the world renowned Edinburgh Festival.
