Join us for a vibrant celebration of arts and culture, beginning with a warm welcome and a meaningful Land Acknowledgment. We’ll recognize our sponsors and government supporters and capture the moment with a group photo of speakers and organization representatives. We’ll wrap up with highlights from the day and extend an invitation to join us for the opening of Gallery in the Woods and a special book launch. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in creativity and community.

The Wilding Book Launch at 4pm
In poems shot through with both wonder and woe, Sandra Morris’s debut poetry collection, The Wilding, is a fierce consideration of wilderness amidst a changing climate — a love letter and offering to Muskoka and the natural world.
Sandra is thrilled to launch The Wilding at the Muskoka Chautauqua, in the place that inspired it. She will read a selection of poems from her debut collection — with music, photos, refreshments, and a small token of appreciation for participants and Muskoka to accompany this event.
Following The Wilding Book Launch, the Gallery in the Woods Opening Reception will begin. We look forward to welcoming you to the festival!
