Join Terry Stevens and Lucille Joseph as they interview each other about their recently published books, “Riding the Sound Wave” and “Releasement,” and about their lives. These two authors, a musician who has performed all over the world and a leader in business and the arts in Toronto, have written two very different books, both acknowledging inspiration and guidance from the same mentor, philosopher, and musician Kenneth G. Mills. Their conversation will explore the practicality of philosophical wisdom in a world seemingly filled with chaos and division, the transforming power of sound and music, and how a mentor can unlock an individual’s potential. They will open the floor to questions and invite the audience to engage in how the high ideals of wisdom teachings are applicable in our lives today.
Terry Stevens, author of “Riding the Sound Wave,” traveled Europe, Russia, and North America, singing in concert with Kenneth G. Mills and the Star-Scape Singers. They performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Centre, and Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto and completed seven major European tours. He is also the author of “Hope, Recovery and a New Life” and has lectured at various hospitals to encourage patients and staff. Terry has been interviewed on Rogers TV and CTV and was honored at the Amazing Persons Gala. Terry is currently writing a new book called “Turning Squares into Circles (Authentic Avenues into Creativity).” He is a prolific painter with over 200 paintings to date.
Lucille Joseph, author of “Releasement: Learning to Dance with Life,” was with the Boston Consulting Group for over a decade, an executive with BMO, and CEO of Career Edge Organization. She is one of the founders of the Luminato Festival Toronto and a former chair of the National Ballet of Canada. Today, Lucille hosts a series of forums in-person and online and is recording a podcast interviewing leaders whose professional work is shaped by their deepest inner values.
