Plein-Air Painting Workshop (Thursday PM)

Explore the beauty of the Muskoka landscape and capture its essence on canvas. This workshop is designed for artists of all levels, from beginners to seasoned painters, who want to elevate their skills in outdoor painting.

Through personalized guidance and demonstrations, you’ll learn essential techniques, including colour mixing, composition, light and shadow, and creating depth and atmosphere in your landscapes.

Acrylic painting supplies will be provided. However, you are welcome to bring your own supplies in any medium, if you prefer. Unleash your creativity and be inspired by the great outdoors!

*Participants are not required to bring anything but may bring their own supplies if they prefer.

Muskoka Discovery Centre Discount! During the month of August, any patrons can receive a $15 entry fee to the Muskoka Discovery Centre in Gravenhurst by showing any ticket from the Muskoka Chautauqua Arts & Culture Festival. Enjoy learning about the history of the area as well as a special feature on Muskoka Chautauqua!
